Daniela Zelaya is an Associate in the Young Women Engagement Team. Prior to joining the team she worked as an intern in the communications department of the World YWCA. In Honduras, where Daniela comes from, she was the Chief of Marketing and Advertising for the Chamber of Commerce. She holds a Degree in Communications and Advertising from the Universidad Tecnólogica Centroamericana. She is passionate about human rights and graphic design.
She loves: Coffee, yoga, reading, hiking and petting every single dog in the world.
She is inspired by: Her grandmother Stella (better known as Tita) 90+ years old and still a passionate activist, a guru and inspiration to many.
She wants to change: She would like to see a world in which people are treated equally no matter their gender, sexual orientation / identity, race, belief, culture or background.
